Mostly sunny and breezy today with highs in the upper 70’s and lowish humidity.

We  had a strange day at the store. A few customers this morning and through mid afternoon. Then late afternoon, about an hour before closing, we were slammed with customers until closing time. Not sure where everyone was during the day but they were not uptown. Most all the customers were from out of town for the weekend or the day. Talked to several people from Winston. We almost made 100.00 mostly in that one hour.

Sunny and breezy with highs in the upper 70’s. We’ve had a nice spell of dry weather and comfortable temperatures.

Lots of events in town for the weekend bringing a lot of business to the store. The biggest event was the fiber festival at the fair grounds. Brings in a lot of vendors and folks teaching related skills. Attendees come to the town first and then go out or vice versa but either was we had a good couple of days. Almost broke $200.00 three days running.

Mostly sunny with temperatures in the low to mid 70’s and humid. We had a brief shower around midday. Maybe some showers or thunderstorms popping up this evening.

A good day at the store. Several big donations. A steady flow of customers off and on most of the day. We did make over $100.00.

A new “cakery”has opened next door to us. She makes lovely cakes, cupcakes, and assorted nice desserts. She is bringing a lot of traffic to our end of the block and to the bookstore. A lovely addition to our main street.

Mostly sunny, breezy, and cool today. Temperatures in the upper 60’s with gusty winds at times.

Busy day at the store. It was half price paperbacks and Music on Main starting at five so we stayed open until 7:30. A long day but we made over $200.00. A couple of donations but mostly just helping customers and selling books. A lot of out of town folks plus a few regulars.

A moderately busy day at the store. Almost made $100.00. Mostly out of town folks today. Worked on a small donation and filled some empty shelves with backlog copies.
