Last night we had several rounds of thunderstorms that lasted for about three hours. Had about an inch of rain after all was said and done. Today was sunny and warm with highs in upper 70’s.

It was a busy day at the bookstore between customers and donations especially since I was working by myself. We almost broke the $100.00 ceiling.

After I closed up the store I met Donna at the wine bard downstairs. We had a couple of glasses of wind and shared an appetizer and a dessert and had a nice visit.

As I was leaving town it was raining fairly hard but was not raining as I got closer to the house. Looks like we may have had a short shower here.

I left for Winston around 8:15 this morning for my appointments. First my mammogram followed by a visit with nurse Katie downstairs. All was well with my exam. Here back from my mammogram next week.

It was another warm day down the mountain with temperatures approaching 90 by the time I headed back up the mountain. It’s only in the upper 70’s to low 80’s here and mostly sunny.

I have a Friends of the Library event to help out with tonight.

Sunny and warm today with highs in the mid to upper 80’s.

Busy day at the bookstore with donations and other stuff that kept popping up and needing handling. Busy in spurts with customers but did not make much in sales.

I  had to go by the library to drop off and pick up some books and do a couple of things associated with the Friends of the Library for an event tomorrow night.

Sunny and warm today with highs in the mid 80’s and 55% humidity.

I went to the gym then stopped at the store to pick up salad greens and milk.

Did a few gardening chores; watered the flowers, pulled up the dead tall flower stalks in the butterfly garden, and filled the bird feeders.

Came in and showered, changed the sheets, and fixed some lunch. That’s about it for the day.

I did the usual house cleaning chores this morning. Laundry this afternoon while doing a few things here at my desk but that’s about all for today.

Another beautiful day in the mountains. Sunshine with highs in the low 80’s and breezy.

Today was half price paperback sale and Music on Main that started at 5 pm. We stayed open until 7:30 and easily broke the $400.00 ceiling. It was a long day but very profitable.

Beautiful day in the mountains. Lots of sunshine with temperatures in the mid 70’s, humidity in the 60’s, and breezy.

Very busy day at the store. I was flying solo today. Between customers and donations I was busy all day. Easily broke the $100.00 ceiling. Lots of folks in from out of town for the weekend along with several regular customers.

Cloud this morning gave way to lots of sunshine this afternoon. Low this morning was in the upper 60’s. High’s today in the low to mid 70’s with some 10 to 15 mph wind gusts.

Off to the gym then the library to pick up and return some books. Came home and weeded the flower bed around the mail box and the one along the front porch. With all the rain it was easy to pull grass and weeds.

I had a couple of indoor chores to do this afternoon.

Mostly sunny and cool today with highs in the low 70’s and breezy; humidity in the low 70’s.

It was one of those days at the store. I helped Joyce change out the front window and changed the half price table for September. We had lots of customers but very few sales. Also, several donations came in to deal with. So, a physically tiring day but got a lot done.

We did not get storms last night but had several rounds of heavy rain around 11 pm. About an inch overall. Today is cool with highs in the low 70’s but humid. May get another round of rain or storms tonight.

Went to the gym and grocery store this morning. Picked up the usual weekly items and a couple of things on sale.

Too wet to do anything outside this afternoon but need to do a few things here at my desk.
