Warm and humid today with highs in the low to mid 80’s. We had a gully washer in town around 3:30 but not a drop fell here the house. Rats! Still some grey clouds around but I am not hopeful.

We had a very busy morning at the bookstore. Thing calmed down later in the afternoon but we still almost broke the $200.00 ceiling which a great day for a Wednesday. Lot’s of folks in town for the 4th.

Happy 4th of July.

It’s sunny and breezy with temperatures in low 80’s and humidity in the low 60’s.

I spent the morning vacuuming and dusting the downstairs rooms. Then went outside to water some of the smaller pots and fill the bird feeders.

That’s about it for me for today.

Mostly cloudy today with temperatures in the low 80’s and very breezy. Chance of thunderstorms maybe later this afternoon. There were storms in the area last night but I did not get one here at the house.

Gym and grocery store this morning. Picked up the usual milk. juice, and salad mix. Kielbasa was a two for so I picked up that and a couple of other odds and ends.

I dead headed the flowers and pulled a few weeds from the area in the front of the porch. The rest of the ground is too dry to pull so I gave up and called it a day outside.

Today was a busy day in town. Food trucks were there from 9 to 3. Then the July 4th parade was at 2pm. Music on Main was supposed to be from 5 to 9. They announced yesterday they would move it inside due to possible storms this afternoon and evening.

It was half price paperback sale at the store. We stayed open until 6:15. Crowds had thinned out by then since they moved the music inside to the Muddy Creek which is three blocks down the street from us. But, we did break the $200.00 ceiling so a good day all around.

Sunny, warm, and hazy today with temperatures in the mid 80’s.

We started off slow at the bookstore this morning. Then the afternoon was super busy until time to close. We broke the $100.00 ceiling. Had a lot of visitors as well as some regular customers. Also, quit a few small donations to work on in between customers. Did the end of the month deposit. June was a very good month for us in both sales and donations.

Warm, sunny, and breezy with temperatures in the upper 70’s We are finally getting summer time temperatures. However, the wild fire smoke is back.

We had a very busy day at the bookstore. Lot’s of out of town regulars as well as first time visitors. We easily broke the $200.00 ceiling which is great for a Wednesday.
