Mostly sunny, breezy, and warm today with highs in the upper 70’s. Slight chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon.
Gym and grocery store this morning. All I needed was lettuce and milk. Picked up a yellow squash to fix for my dinner tonight.
Back home. I weeded the flower beds by the porch and dead headed flowers.
This afternoon changed the sheets and balanced the check book. Wrapped up the end of the month spread sheet.

Frances and Al left mid-morning. I did the usual house cleaning chores. Laundry this afternoon and a few things to do here at the computer.
Off and on sunshine and rain showers today. Highs in the low 70’s.
We lazed around the house this morning, ate lunch, then headed over to Independence. Stopped at a local ice cream shop for a treat then on to Food City to do some grocery shopping. I found everything I was looking for that I cannot find at Food Lion or Wal-Mart. Frances and Al found some things on sale they could use.
Not sure what we are doing for dinner.
Rain, rain, and more rain. About 4 inches so far with more to come. Flash flood watch until Thursday afternoon. Temperatures are in the low to mid 60’s.
It was foggy this morning when I left for the gym. Since the heavy rain early this morning it’s been more of a drizzle. I stopped by the library to pick up and return books and picked up a prescription from the drugstore.
Otherwise, just watching it rain. The birds congregate on my porch furniture to stay dry between visits to the feeder.
Warm and sunny today with light winds. Temperatures in the mid 70’s.
Did the usual house cleaning chores this morning. Swept out the garage behind the car where all the stuff has blown in at the door from all the winds.
Laundry this afternoon and cooking dinner but otherwise just taking it easy while watching the US Open.
