Finally, a nice spring day with temperatures in the upper 60’s and a slight breeze.

We had an outstanding day at the store breaking the $500.00 ceiling with everything in the store half price. There was an apple pie festival in town as well as the first day of the farmer’s market. We had a lot of traffic from folks in town for both.

Tired but pleased at the day. Met a lot of nice people from all over the area. Hopefully all the merchants had a good day as well.

A nice sunny day with temperatures in the mid 60’s and calm winds.

Today was full store half price sale. We did well, close to $300.00, but did not get the large number of big buyers we usually get. But, it was steady most of the day with a few lulls here and there.

Finally, the winds have calmed down to just breezy. Sun is out and it has warmed up into the low 60’s.

I went to the gym and the library this morning. This afternoon I went over to visit Donna and the dog pack for awhile. AC folks did not come this morning as planned to do the spring check because it was too cold. I have that rescheduled. My plumbing guy came by to put more salt in the water system tank.

Today’s weather; if you don’t like it wait five minutes. We’ve had another day of 45 to 50 mph gusts. This morning we had sun, clouds, rain, sleet, and snow showers all before 1 pm. This afternoon is sunny and chilly with highs in the low 50’s but  the wind chill down in the upper 30’s.

We were busy off and on all day. We did not quit break the $100.00 ceiling but came close. When the weather is nasty we are busy with folks coming in to escape the weather.

Another windy, chilly day. Mostly sunny with wind gusts over 50 mph and temperatures in the low 50’s making if feel like the 40’s.

I drove over to Boone this morning to get the oil changed, inspection, and 30,000 mile service. They would not pass inspection because of the tires. It was 1:00 when they finished everything up. On the way back into town I stopped at B & T to have Bob take a look. He said the front ones were a bit worn but suggested I could just rotate them and get a couple more thousand miles on  them. He then passed my inspection. I will get tires in the fall when I get the six month oil change.

That’s been the chunk of my day.

Winds howled around the house last night. Today is more of the same with 50 plus mph gusts. Temps are in the upper 40’s with wind chills in the upper 30’s and partly sunny skies.

I went to the gym, drug store, and grocery store this morning. Picked up the usual weekly stuff along with a few pantry items I needed to get more of.

Friends of the Library meeting this afternoon.

Cloudy today with off and on rain showers. Temperatures are in the mid 50’s but will drop this afternoon with winds gusting again in the 40 mph range by tonight.

Today is the usual laundry and cleaning chores. I have first of the month bill paying and spreadsheet stuff to do this afternoon. Making chili for dinner.

Sunny and warm today with temperatures in the upper 60’s and breezy. Rain and storms coming in tonight along with another cold front.

Pat and I had a busy day at the store. We had a steady flow of customers except for two little breaks in the middle of the day. And, we had another big donation come in we had to process in between customers. We broke the $150.00 ceiling easily which made a good end to the month for us.

Cloudy and 55 degrees when I went to the gym this morning.

I came back home and got cleaned up then headed for Winston. I stopped at Home Depot to pick up bird seed and potting mix. Then made a couple of other stops before my 2:30 haircut appointment.

It started raining down there around midday with temperatures in the upper 50’s. It was raining pretty hard when I left to come back up the hill. We’ve not had much rain here so far but heavier stuff is supposed to come in tonight. Temperatures are hovering around the low 50’s. It was quit foggy coming up the mountain but clear up top.
