More sunshine and nice temperatures with highs in the upper 70’s.
Frances and Al left around 9 this morning.
I did the usual vacuuming, cleaning the bathrooms, and dusting.
This afternoon a load of laundry and towels.
Frances and Al came up last evening.
Today was our Heritage Festival in town. They block off the streets and set up vendor and food tents. While they hung out there all day I had to work at the bookstore. It was the second day of our store wide half price sale. We were busy most of the day and broke the $500.00 ceiling. A really good two days of sales for the store.
Weather was great. Temperatures in the mid 70’s with a breeze.
We ate dinner at the Pines which is one block off Main street and down a block from where Al had parked so we walked.
A front came through yesterday evening bringing another half inch of rain. Today is sunny and mild with temperatures in the low 70’s and breezy.
I skipped the gym this morning and stayed home to work in the yard. Spent about an hour and half pulling weeds and grass. Dumped another one of the hanging pots on the porch and pulled up some of the dead stuff in the butterfly garden, filled the bird feeders, and tidied up in the garage a little.
This afternoon I need to tidy up in the kitchen; empty the dishwasher and put away the clean dishes on the counter.
