Cloudy with off and on drizzle and high’s only in the lower 70’s. Chance of storms this afternoon.
I did the usual house cleaning chores this morning. Having to do the laundry today along with a towel load after spending the last two days at the bookstore.
This afternoon worked at my desk for awhile doing end/first of the month bills and spreadsheet stuff.
Mostly sunny today with temperatures in the low 80’s and a bit humid.
George came this morning before I left for the bookstore to measure the wall downstairs to replace the wallboard from the leaks. He came back after I left to install the wall board and fix the hole behind the foyer toilet. The first coat of mud is on. He will be back next week to put on another coat and then paint.
I worked a full shift at the bookstore today by myself. My Friday co-worker was out sick and the afternoon person had something come up. We were busy off and on all day bringing in well over $100.00. Around 3:30 we had another one of those micro bursts of a down pour but it did not make it to my house.
JoAnne stopped in to visit me at the store this afternoon. She hung around until it was time to close up then we went to the Pizzeria for an early dinner.
Quick moving thunderstorm yesterday around five brought another 2 tenths of an inch of rain.
Today is overcast with temperatures in the low 80’s but very humid. Chance of storms again today and tonight.
I changed the sheets then went outside. Nice soft ground for pulling weeds and grass from the natural areas. I dead headed some flowers, filled the feeders, and transplanted another batch of stone crop from the bed by the stoop out to the driveway bed.
Not much else going on this afternoon other than a few odds and end chores while the sheets are washing and drying.
Another short thunderstorm last night around 8 pm. Just a little light rain with a few bright flashes of lightening and some thunder before it moved on out. Today is warm with temperatures in the mid to upper 80’s and close to 60% humidity. Chance of storms this afternoon and evening.
