Al and I left for Winston around 10 this morning for my noon haircut appointment. From there we went to their house to pick up Frances.

From their house we drove to my 2:15 appointment with my ortho doctor for my four week followup. All is well. I can start driving next week and go back to gym to continue getting my knee stronger.

After my appointment we stopped at Lowe’s in Winston to see what flowers I could find for my pots. From there we headed home stopping at a small road side plant place in Elkin and to eat dinner at Dodge City.

I guess we got home about 6;30.

After a cloudy start to the morning we have clear skies and temperatures in the low 70’s with 15 plus mph wind gusts.

Al is working outside trimming bushes, pulling weeds, etc. With me not being able to keep it under control on a daily basis it’s a mess. I am going out periodically to try to help but at this point I am still not able to do a whole lot of bending and stooping. Hopefully before too long I can get back at it.

James will show up sometime this afternoon to mow.

Sunshine this morning. Rain and thunderstorms started around noon. So far about half an inch of rain. Temperatures in the upper 70’s.

Al is on the way up from Winston to help out with some errands that need run and some things done inside and outside depending on the weather.

Frances is sending up leftovers from Al’s big birthday party last Sunday for our dinner.
