Partly cloudy, warm, and breezy again today

The refrigerator repairman came today to look at the fridge. Said it’s a sensor for both the fridge and the freezer. He is checking on getting the part and get back to me.

PT came this afternoon for my last session for this week. I had lots of exercises to do until I see her next Monday. Swelling has gone down some, With the exercises and healing going on lots of pain to manage.

Sunny and breezy today with temperatures in the low 70’s.

Not much going on today. I’ve had a couple of friends check in via text.

This morning I ran the dishwasher, made tea, and tidied up in the kitchen. Otherwise, knee exercises and icing.

Another day of partly cloudy skies with a chance of rain/thunderstorms. High today is the upper 60’s with a breeze.

PT is coming this afternoon and Keli is bringing me dinner at 5 pm.

Otherwise icing the knee and getting up and moving around frequently.

Today’s weather much like yesterday. Highs in the low 70’s with partly cloudy skies and a chance of rain this afternoon. It never did rain here yesterday though skies darkened up off an on all afternoon.

This morning I cleaned the sinks and toilets in the bathrooms. Ran a load of towels this afternoon. Did my exercises and keeping ice on the knee. Getting around pretty good.

Mostly cloudy this afternoon with temperatures in the mid 60’s. Chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. We had about 2 tenths of an inch of rain over night.

I am getting around well. Just using the walker as balance. Keeping the knee iced and doing my exercises.  I did a load of laundry. Now that I can put weight on the leg I can balance the laundry basket on the walker instead of having to  push it with the walker.

Clouds, fog, with drizzle today with temperatures in the low 60’s

The home health PT supervisor came this morning to get me registered back into their system. My PT will start next week. I have some exercises to do until then given to me by the PT at the hospital.

Much easier getting around now that I can walk on the leg. Still using the walker until it gets stronger and some of the swelling goes down.

Al drove me down to Winston yesterday. We left around 9 am. I had to be at the hospital by 11 to get checked in for my surgery.

All went well. Al and Frances got to the hospital around 11 this morning to take bring me home. They had 21 discharges to get through today so it was 3;30 by the time we got out there.

We stopped at the drugstore first getting to the house about 5 pm. They helped me settled in then left to head back down the mountain.

All going well so far. Pain has not been too bad. I have pain meds and have to on oral antibiotics for three months. Came home with an ice machine to work on keeping the swelling down. Easy to use. Just put frozen water bottles in the water and turn it on. Swap out the bottles after about 3 hours.

The pressure washer guy came this afternoon. The front of the house looks so much better. He did a great job.
