I had a little over an inch of rain yesterday afternoon and last night. Today is mostly sunny and warm with temperatures in the mid 60’s. More rain late this afternoon with possible thunder storms. Behind the rain is a cold front.

A quiet day. No home visits today. I’ve had a couple of phone calls with folks checking in. Hobbling around getting dressed, fixing my food, and keeping the kitchen tidy is about the extent of my days activities.

Partly cloudy skies this morning. Temps today in the upper 50’s. The rain is on the way this afternoon and tonight, heavy at times, with possible thunderstorms.

My CNA arrived around 12:45 at the same time as my neighbor down the street. Jackie stopped by to check on how I was doing and to pick up the containers they brought food in a couple of weekends ago. After she left I had my shower and then back to my spot on the sofa.

Sunny and not as breezy with temps in the low 50’s.

The home health nurse came this morning to draw blood and and change the pic line connection for my antibiotic.

Otherwise, all is going well.

We had another round of rain with thunder around dinner time. Then, around ten I heard the oddest noise from what I thought was coming from the kitchen. I was just turning off the lights to head back to bed. Nothing in the house so I went over to the French doors in the dinning room to check things outside. We were having a pea sized hail storm which was what was beating against the kitchen window.

We had another short burst of hail and rain about an hour later. And, behind all that came more high winds and cold temperatures. It’s sunny today but we are under wind advisory until early this evening.

My RN came this morning to check how everything is going. Once she left, I did some first of the month stuff here at my desk.

Cloudy and mild today. Rain coming in tonight. Hopefully we will not get any bad storms.

My CNA came this morning to help me with my shower. After she left I fixed my lunch. So far things are going well. I can manage the kitchen chores; fixing meals, loading the dishwasher, etc.

Other than getting the supplies three times a day for my infusion there is not much else I have to worry about on the day to day basis that is critical.

Cloudy and cool today with temps in the upper 50’s. The winds howled again yesterday but I think that front has finally moved through.

Busy day yesterday with home health and friends dropping by to check on me.

No visits today from home health folks. A friend is dropping by this afternoon. So far, managing getting my meals and things I need with not much problem.
