Sunny today but cold. Low this morning in the upper 20’s. Still breezy but it’s warmed up into the the mid 30’s this afternoon.
I did some house cleaning chores this morning. This afternoon I am watching Bletchley Circle: San Francisco on the local PBS station and wrapping Christmas presents. Bob and I had watched the original Bletchley Circle. I did not know they did a spin off until I happen to see on the TV lineup for this afternoon.
Foggy this morning. The storm that that wrecked havoc in nearby Tennessee and Kentucky and some other states is just about here but in the form of mostly heavy rain with gusty winds. We are under a high wind advisory for this afternoon and tonight.
Not much else going on. I did some laundry and a few other odds and ends.
Yesterday I volunteered at the bookstore until 2 pm then left for Winston. I stopped by Frances and Al’s to drop off my overnight gear and hung around until time to go to Filing Station uptown to have dinner with Nancy and Betsy
Back to Frances and Al’s for the night. This morning I left their house to run a couple of errands then met my friends from the law firm for lunch at Willow’s Bistro. From there it was back up the mountain for home.
I do miss Colin terribly but I do have more freedom to get out of the house for some overnight trips.
Mostly cloudy and warm today. Temperatures in the mid 50’s and calm winds. We are forecast to get some rain later this afternoon and evening.
I went to the gym this morning.
We our Christmas Friends of the Library meeting at 1 pm. Everyone brought something to share to eat and a gift to exchange. We had 17 people which was a good crowd for us that included several new volunteers at the bookstore and our wonderful high school volunteer.
