48 degrees this morning when we went out. Now the winds have started blowing with temperatures fall during the day into the upper 20’s by tonight with winds gusting at 40 mph. May see a snow flurry or two before all is said and done.
OT came and the nurse made a visit.
Another nice sunny, warm day.
Al vacuumed and changed my bed linens and did a couple of other chores for me. The oven has been self cleaned as well.
They are getting ready to head back down the mountain. It was a great time having them up here.
We’ve had two beautiful days of sunshine and warm temperatures with a little bit of breeze.
Al and Frances went to the grocery store for me this morning. OT came to help me with my shower.
Al worked outside doing odds and ends stuff for me. He is seeding over the garden spot. I do not want to plant another garden. I may do some stuff in pots on the deck.
Frances rode along with me to my chiropractor appointment then we made a stop at the garden store on the way home to look at a couple of things.
Frances and Al arrived around dinner time last night.
Her and Al are making Thanksgiving dinner. She is helping me finish the tree and put a few things out for my village. Keeping it real simple this year.

Winds were gusting this morning making 34 degrees feel like 24 when I took Colin out. The winds have calmed down to around to 15 mph and it’s warmed up into the mid 40’s, the high for the day.
OT came to help me with my shower. Shower bench was taken out last Friday when Heidi cleaned my shower for me. Today was my first standing shower.
PT comes this afternoon,
Cloudy with temps in the low 50’s.
JoAnn came over around 11 to visit and help me organize the Christmas decorations boxes we pulled out of the closet yesterday. I did get the wreaths hung and started on the lights on the big tree. She opened all the storage containers so I can see what it in them.
I will try to work on things a little at a time then take breaks.

A beautiful fall day with lots of sunshine, calm winds, and temps in the mid 60’s.
Heidi and her son took me to get my Christmas tree this morning. We went to a nearby choose and cut farm I had been to a couple of years ago. This way I could hold the tree and her 21 year old son could crawl around on the floor tightening the screws in the stand.
I guess between knee and my back trying to decorate for Christmas is being ambitious but I am doing it mostly for my mental health. Not decorating for Christmas would be very hard for me.
Her son also fixed my front door knob that had come loose, pulled out all the Christmas decoration boxes from the closet and did a couple more odds and ends things.
Heidi helped me clear the table tops, etc. I can do a little bit here and there until Frances and Al get here the end of the week for their help.
I did my laundry this afternoon. Now time to go rest before attempting to cook a skillet meal for dinner.
