Mostly cloudy this morning but the sun will be out this afternoon. Temperatures are only in the upper 70’s but its humid.

I had to drive down to Elkin this morning for a followup on my implant surgery three weeks ago. All is healing well. Now another two months to go back to make sure all is well.

We are in for a dry spell so I washed the car when I got back home. Filled the bird feeder and puttered around in the garage then came in to fix some lunch.

Cloudy and cool today with temperatures in the low 70’s and breezy. There is a chance of strong storms this afternoon and evening.

I went to the gym and grocery store. Along with the usual weekly stuff I picked up some things for the pantry.

It was sprinkling just a little on the way home from the store but had stopped by the time I made it to the house. I went out to do some yard stuff. Although the temperatures were low it was humid. I worked for about an hour and half then called it quits.

Mostly sunny, breezy, and warm today with highs in the low to mid 80’s. The storm yesterday evening did indeed miss us.

Today is the usual Sunday chores and odd and ends to take care of.

Wendy, who volunteered with me at the store yesterday, brought me a mess of green beans from her garden. I am cooking those for dinner tonight.

Sunny and nice today with highs in the mid to upper 70’s and breezy. Skies are looking a little like we may get a storm later this evening but it may go around us.

The day at the bookstore started out dismally. Thankfully things picked up later this afternoon and we salvaged the day barely making the $100.00 ceiling. Not sure where all the locals were today. It was almost all out of town folks escaping the heat from the flatland.

We were off and on busy with sales at the store just barely missing the $100.00 ceiling. But, Pat and I were covered up with donations coming in one after another. Mostly good stuff. I will finish processing those tomorrow.

Cool and drizzly this morning when I left for Winston.

Same thing all the way down the mountain and in Winston. I had several errands to run before meeting the girls from Firm for lunch at Little Richards Barbecue. Always good food and service which is important since they have to get back to work.

I left there for my 2 pm haircut appointment then back up the mountain. Off and on showers mot of the way home. It’s only 73 degrees here. The sun is trying to come out but I think more showers are on the way.

Mostly sunny this morning. Clouding up this afternoon. We are under a tornado watch until 9 pm. Temperatures are in the low 80’s right now.

I went to the gym and grocery store. Picked the usual items plus some things I needed for the pantry to restock what I have used.

This afternoon I had a Friends of the Library meeting. Stopped by the bank then headed home and keep an eye on the sky.
