Sunny and warm today with highs in the low 80’s.

We had an awesome day at the bookstore. Even though it was half price paperbacks for the day we had made almost $200.00 by 1 pm. We had a bit of a lull  in the afternoon before things picked up again. It was Music on Main so we stayed open until 7:30 with another rush from around 6 pm until we closed.

All in all we broke the $300.00. A long day but worth it.

Sunny and warmer today with high in the upper 70’s and breezy.

A rather slow day at the bookstore. We did okay with sales but did not quit make the $100.00 ceiling. But, off and on busy spells along with a couple of small donations.

With all the rain yesterday I guess James is behind in the mowing. He had just started my yard when I arrived home which is late for him. And, despite a little bit of a dry spell it is still high and green for the most part.

Woke up this morning to light rain. Highs today in the upper 60’s to low 70’s with rain all day. We need the rain especially  the nice steady rainfall rather than a gully washer.

I went to the gym then back home. Just hanging out the rest of the day since yard work is out of the equation. And, I always have odds and ends to do to keep the house in order.

Mostly sunny today. Low’s over night in the upper 50’s. High’s today in the upper 70’s and breezy.

A slow start to the day at the bookstore but things picked up around midday. We did break the $100.00 ceiling. Had a couple of small donations come in. Most of today’s shoppers were out of town folks which is always nice.

While Joyce changed the window I changed the half price sale table for the month. All in all a good day.

Warm and sunny again today with highs in the upper 80’s. We are under severe thunderstorm watch for this evening. We had one last night but the storms went around us. We need some rain.

A fairly steady day at the bookstore. We had a lull late this afternoon but still broke the $100.00 ceiling for the last day of the month for us. Overall we had a very good month in total sales. Only a couple of small donations to take care of.

Sunny and warm again today with highs in the mid to upper 80’s and a bit more humidity.

A slow start to the morning at the bookstore but things picked up around midday with both customers and donations. We did break the $150.00 ceiling easily. Pat and I took care of the all the donations.

Watered the pots and dead headed the flowers in those when I got home.

Warm today with highs in the mid to upper 80’s. While that is not as hot as those folks out in the mid west it is warm for us here in the mountains.

I worked the bookstore again today to fill in for one of the volunteers on vacation. I did have another part time volunteer there today to help me price and sort all the donations that came in yesterday. Today was not really busy with customers. We did not get close to the $100.00 ceiling but as I said I had time to get everything cleaned up and organized. A small donation came in this afternoon that I finished up before it was time to close.
