Cold but sunny today. Temperatures barely made it to 30 degrees with 50 mph winds putting the wind chill in the low teens.

A slow day at the store due I imagine due to the windy conditions. Mostly locals who were in town. Still we did almost $50 so it was good day considering.

Cloudy and windy today with temperatures in the upper 30’s. Winds blowing around 15 to 20 mph with 45 mph gusts later this afternoon and tonight.

I went to the gym then ran the car through the car wash on the way home. It’s not a great car wash but the car was covered in dirt and salt from were they salted the roads for ice the last couple of weeks.

This afternoon I have first of the month bills to pay and do a few things around the house.

Off and on traffic at the bookstore today but low sales over all. Joyce worked on changing the front window. I did some organizing in a couple of sections that needed work.

Gym and grocery store this morning. I stocked up on some two-for items for the pantry along with the weekly milk and salad stuff.

Not much else going on this afternoon. Fixing a skillet meal for dinner.

Sunny, not as windy, and mild with temperatures climbing into the upper 40’s by this afternoon.

Another good day at the bookstore. Broke the $100.00 ceiling though not as much as we made yesterday. Lots of regulars, some families, and a few out of town visitors. Pat had to leave at three so I manned the fort until closing time.

A busy day at the bookstore with a lot of folks from out of town with family or friends that live here and some were first timers. We broke the $100.00 ceiling after a couple of slow days. Had a couple of very nice families with little ones that all bought children’s books.

Sunny today but windy and cold. Temperatures in the low 30’s with a wind chill in the low 20’s. Winds were really gusting last night again and we had a few snow flurries today.

I worked at the bookstore today for our backup volunteer that usually works with Joyce. We have a special education high school student that she works with couple of hours at the bookstore on Wednesday’s and Thursdays so we really need two people in the store.

It was somewhat better day today. We have a few more customers and made almost $50 so sales were a but better.
